Powell River House
This is our home in Powell River BC, where we plan to settle when our roaming days are finished. It's south of town on a quiet street with lots of trees.
Here's a closer view of the house. It has great potential and we cleaned it up somewhat, especially inside, and have rented it out to a happy family until we are ready to take it over.
This is a view of the back of the house & part of the yard on this 85 x 150 lot.
Two fruit trees and a shed are advantages of the yard, and it is fortunate to face onto a forest for which there are no plans to develop.
Lovely homes face both sides of the street, which ends in a cul-de-sac so there is little traffic on it.
The houses across the street face onto Malaspina Strait and Texada Island; our house thus has a view between them. This photo was taken from the street and the view is better from the second floor and deck of the house.
We feel fortunate to have found this home and gotten into the real estate market in Powell River when we did. It gives us something to look forward to when we're ready to "settle down".
