As we wandered around the Alameda marinas, we decided to drop in on an old pal of Rod's from his "living aboard days. His name is Cassio and he responded very graciously from this impromptu visit, and toured us around his attractive powerboat.
As we chatted happily, Robert, another "old salt joined us. All in all, it was an enjoyable evening, and Cassio has promised us one of his renowned home-cooked meals -- we'll take him up on this as we return north.
