Something we had been looking forward to was visiting with Rod's cousin Peggy, whom he hadn't seen in many years and Sandra of course had not yet met. We came from our separate directions to a Mexican restaurant in Santa Clara.
Peggy is a gracious, kind woman. She had brought along a photo album, mostly about her two sons and their children. Being the matriarch in her family brings her great joy. She also has lots of fun being part of a Red Hat Ladies group.
After lunch, the 3 of us talked and talked, and the afternoon went happily by. Our visit was very sweet, and we hope to see her again when we head north in the spring.
